数字法庭是一个充分利用现代计算机技术、通信技术、音像技术,服务庭审法官、公诉人/原告和辩护人/被告的现代化法庭。主要是为提高法庭审判效率,适应审判工作的发展,解决传统法庭庭审中示证、记录、翻译、作证、旁听等方面存在的问题。

Digital court is a modern court which makes full use of modern computer technology, communication technology and audio and video technology to serve judges, prosecutors/plaintiffs and defenders/defendants. In order to improve the court trial efficiency and adapt to the development of trial work, the problems existing in the traditional court trials such as identification, record, translation, testimony and audit are solved.
