The Implication of “Aging”in Lu Xun's “New Stories”

晚年的鲁迅,由于病痛缠身、处境艰难等原因,对自己一生所从事的"启蒙"事业产生了质疑。鲁迅在无奈和悲凉中,产生了一种无法避免的"迟暮"意识,这种意识也呈现在他晚年的作品《故事新编》中,从某种程度上,体现出了鲁迅作为一个"启蒙者"的莫大的悲哀。

Lu Xun,at his old age,suffered from illness and hard life. He started to doubt his career of "enlightening people". With the sentiment of helplessness and sadness,he was aware of "aging". This is reflected in his later works: "New Stories". To some extent,this is a tragedy for him as a "enlightener".
