The Impact of Public Health Insurance on Subjective Happiness:An Empirical Study Based on CGSS Data

根据中国综合社会调查CGSS样本微观数据,分析居民社会医疗保险的参保现状以及主观幸福感的分布特点,探讨社会医疗保险参保状况对于主观幸福感的影响路径。研究发现,医保参与对主观幸福感的影响通过"身体健康状况"及"社会公平感"两个中介变量产生。为了提高我国居民的主观幸福感,要从加快城乡医疗保险整合的步伐、完善医疗保险的补充项目以及提升医疗保险给付水平三个方面入手,注重制度的公平性,同时提升医保的可及性、有效性,从而改善居民健康状况,达到提升居民主观幸福感的目标。

Based on the data of Chinese General Social Survey （ CGSS） , this paper analyzes the data that citi-zens are covered by medical insurance, the factors which affect people＇s subjective happiness, and the impact of public medical insurance on subjective well-being. The study shows that coverage of medical insurance ex-erts impact on subjective well-being through the two mediating variables-physical health and sense of social fairness. In order to enhance Chinese people＇s subjective happiness, rural and urban medical insurance systems should be integrated against time, more medical insurance options be included, and medical insurance benefits be increased. In addition, to improve people % s health and subjective happiness, medical insurance system should be fair, and more people be covered by effective social medical insurance.
