Risk of Investment in Higher Education:A Study Based on Human Capital Theories

随着大学生就业难成为社会关注的热点问题,高等教育投资风险逐渐进入学者研究视野。文章通过国际比较和历史对比,阐述了当前我国高等教育投资的收益与风险状况,并通过明瑟收益率、有限理性、二元制劳动力市场分割等理论具体阐述了大学生个人存在的高等教育投资风险。最后,从国家、高校和大学生个人三个层面分别提出了降低个人教育投资风险的政策建议。

Researchers are beginning to focus their attention on risks of investment in higher education as more and more college graduates are confronted with difficulties in finding a job, which is a social hot issue in Chi-na. This paper, by doing international and historical comparisons, expounds on the situation concerning returns from and risks of investment in higher education. It also elaborates the risks of investment in higher education college students take according to theories about mencerian rate of return, bounded rationality, and dual labor market segmentation. It finally puts forward suggestions for lowering the risks of investment in higher education as far as the state, universities and students are concerned.
