《健忘村》:混搭喜剧、选择性遗忘与政治寓言

《健忘村》在两岸遭遇截然不同的票房命运。影片以喜剧的名义混搭了爱情、犯罪、奇幻、武侠等类型片元素,它们在电影里生拼硬凑,不能有机融合,因而被大陆观众抛弃。然而电影借助发生于民国初期的荒诞故事反映了台湾社会选择性遗忘的社会现象,这种选择性遗忘并非仅由台湾社会的移民性格和过客心态造成,更是台湾当局操纵民众意识的结果。影片寄寓了强烈的政治寓意,切合台湾地区的历史与社会现实,受到岛内观众欢迎。《健忘村》在大陆票房的失利提醒台湾电影只有寻找到两岸观众的审美共性,才能避免进入大陆后的水土不服。

The Village of No Return suffered a different box office fate on the mainland and in Taiwan Region. In the name of comedy,the film infused the elements of other film genre elements,such as love,crime,fantasy,martial arts,etc.,leading to the incompatible condition. So the film was disfavored by the mainland audience. However,the film with the absurd story occurring in the early Republican era reflected the social phenomenon of selective amnesia in Taiwan Region. The selective amnesia was not caused by Taiwan Residents's immigrant personalities and passer-by's attitudes,but was the result of the Taiwan authorities’ manipulation of people consciousness. The film conveyed a strong political message,which conformed to the history and social reality of Taiwan Region. Thus,the film was welcomed by audience in Taiwan Region. The failure of the film's box office on the mainland indicates that Taiwan Residents film makers should find the aesthetic consensus for the audience of both the mainland and Taiwan Region,in order to avoid the failure on the mainland.
