An analysis is conducted on the technical principle and characteristics of the existing anti-theft technology of cable monitoring,expounding how to prevent the cable from being stolen by monitoring electrical parameters of the cable in real time according to the load characteristics of the various electrical equipments in expressway tunnels.In addition,the advantages of this anti-theft technology are summarized,in combination with project practice,as the need to gather experience of the application of this technology in expressway tunnels.
