诗比历史更富于哲学意味,历史学研究陷入文学性阐释的危机。但诗从未与历史发生过冲突,畅销书《玫瑰的名字》、《我的名字叫红》都显示了历史兴趣。《玫瑰的名字》通过迷宫这一象征带领读者一起思考历史迷局,随后将之解构;《我的名字叫红》则以小说作为文本织体,把业已消失的中古伊斯坦布尔从历史深处拉出来,尝试着复现历史经验的真实。

The poem is richer in philosophical meaning than the history.The research of history is caught in the crisis of literary explanation.But the poem has never conflicted with the history.The bestsellersⅡ Nome Della Rosa and My Name is Red show the interest in history.In Ⅱ Nome Della Rosa,the labyrinth as a symbol leads readers to pass through the puzzle of history,but it is then deconstructed.In My Name is Red,the novel as the text texture,and mediaeval Istanbul which has disappeared is drawn out from the history to try to make the truth of historical experience reappear.
