摘要
人教版高中语文必修三第一单元第三课节选了《老人与海》中桑地亚哥与鲨鱼进行搏斗,最后空手而归的部分。笔者以往在《老人与海》的教学中,往往只把老人84天才捕到鱼这一结果归结为运气,却没能深入研究为何他捕鱼如此困难,其实当时的环境对捕鱼业产生了较大影响,桑地亚哥很难捕到鱼是有原因的。本文就从课文节选部分中的环境描写入手,分析当时的社会环境与自然环境对捕鱼业和桑地亚哥所产生的影响,进而帮助学生更加深入地了解桑地亚哥具有怎样的精神内涵。
A part is excerpted from "The Old Man and the Sea" for the third lesson of the first unit of the third compulsory Chinese textbook of the PEP version for senior high school students.The part narrates Santiago's fight with sharks but returning empty-handed. In the past teaching of "The Old Man and the Sea",the writer often attributed the result of the old man's fish catching after 84 days to luck but did not study in depth why it was so difficult for him to fish. In fact, the environment at that time exerts great influence and Santiago's difficulty in fishing has a reason.This paper starts with the description of the environment in the excerpt from the text and analyzes the social and environmental impacts on the fishing industry and Santiago at that time so as to help students to understand more deeply about the spiritual connotation of Santiago.
