On December 22, 2017, the third China Brand Forum was held inPeople's Daily, under the theme of "new era, new supply, and new engine". As socialism with Chinese characteristics has entered a new era, the principal contradiction facing Chinese society has evolved. What we now face is the contradiction between unbalanced and inadequate development and the people's evergrowing needs for a better life. To some extent, the need for brands belongs to people's ever-growing needs for a better life. What is more, China's economy has been transitioning from a phase of rapid growth to a stage of high-quality development, which also emphasizes the importance of developing a number of well-known and high-quality brands.
