Re-Examination of the Death of Chinggis Khan and His Burial Ground

关于成吉思汗的去世情况及其埋葬地，史书中有比较明确的记载，学者们也已有不少的研究，除了一些具体问题尚需进一步探讨、研究外，总体上不应存在什么歧义和与史料记载相悖的说法。然而，近些年来却出现了一些宣传，在关于成吉思汗的去世情况及其埋葬地的问题上混淆视听，产生了非常不好的影响。本文依据史料记载及前人的研究成果，结合史学方法和蒙古史专业常识，就这一问题加以梳理、辨析和澄清。

Regarding the death of Chinggis Khan and his burial ground,there are relatively clear records in historical writings and some scholars have already done research on it.Except a few specific issues needed to be further discussed and studied,in general there should not be ambiguity and argument different from historical records.Nevertheless,there are a few publications making confusing arguments on the issues of the death of Chinggis Khan and his burial ground,and caused very negative effects.Based on historical records and prior studies,this article reviews,analyzes and clarifies the related issues by combining historical methodology and professional knowledge of Mongolian studies.
