摘要
220 kV南京西环网统一潮流控制器(unified power flow controller,UPFC)是世界上第1个基于模块化多电平(modular multi-level converter,MMC),该工程于2015年12月建成投运。本文首先简要介绍了该工程在2016年的运行情况及在电网中发挥的作用。接着具体阐述了苏州南部电网在发展中存在的不同运行方式下输电通道输/受电能力不足、动态无功支撑能力有限、近区直流双极闭锁后的供电缺额等问题。通过与常规解决措施的对比,阐明了在苏州南部电网中应用500 kV UPFC提高电网输电能力及稳定性的可行性、必要性和必然性。不同于220 kV UPFC工程,500 kV UPFC工程不仅在电压等级上进行了提升,而且创造性地提出了可切换的UPFC主接线方式。500 kV UPFC的应用可以显著提升苏州南部电网的输/受电能力,发挥显著的安全效益、经济效益、社会效益。
220 kV unified power flow controller (UPFC) project in Nanjing western power system, as the first one based on modular multi-level converter (MMC) technology in the world, was completely constructed and put into operation in December 2015. In this paper, the operation status of the project in 2016 and its role in the grid are introduced firstly. Then ,such problem as insufficient transmission/receiving capacities at different operation modes during the development of the grid in the south part of Suzhou , limit of dynamic reactive power support ability and power supply deficiency during bipolar latching in the nearby direct- current substation are described specifically. The feasibility, necessity and inevitability in improving power transmission and stability by the use of 500 kV UPFC in the rid of south Suzhou is introduced by way of comparison with conventional measures. The 500 kV UPFC project, on the contract to that of 220 kV, not only improves the voltage class, but also proposed creatively switchable main wiring mode of UPFC. The application of 500 kV UPFC can significantly improve the power transmission/receiving capability in South grid of Suzhou significantly, and develops remarkable safety, economic and social efficiency.
