In Chinese language, sometimes adjectives plus ＂的＂ are used to describe the noun, sometimes without ＂的＂. The thesis di-vides these situations, and it gets the conclusion that the adjective which is used to describe the state of something should be plus ＂的＂to modify the noun, some adjectives which are used to describe characteristics could be with or without ＂的＂ to describe the noun, butthe adjective which is used to describe the uncertain quantity could not be plus ＂的＂ to describe the noun. The thesis at last points outthe reasons why these situations occur, and it also points out the factors must be paid attention to when the adjective should be pluses ＂的＂ or not to modify nouns.
