The ＂public sphere＂ is an important philosophical concept in Habermas＇ thought. Using the public sphere as the theoretical foundation, Habermas constructs his own theory of citizenship by studying civil society in the public sphere and the life- world. From the crisis in the public sphere to the life-world, Habermas internally builds a society based on communicative rationality so that it will ultimately achieve freedom and harmony.
