阐述了石灰石用于转炉生产的优越性，既可以部分代替石灰减少石灰消耗，还可以平衡转炉富余热量减少冷料加入和增加转炉煤气产量；同时分析了石灰石在转炉中的热分解反应的能量消耗及过程中的渣化反应。实践证明石灰石在转炉炼钢中的应用为炼钢节约了生产成本．为企业创造了更大的利润空间。

Advantage for limestone use in steelmaking in converter is expounded. Limestone may notonly replace a part of lime so as to reduce lime consumption but also balance out surplus heat so asto reduce cold material charged into converter and increase output of converter gas. Heat consump-tion for thermal decomposition reaction of limestone is evaluated and slagging reaction of limestone isanalyzed. It is proved that limestone application in steelmaking in converter saves production cost andmakes big profit for enterprise.
