黎焕颐的诗歌,在对社会、历史、人生反思的同时,更多地表达了对祖国、恋人、孩子、家乡、先贤的爱,爱是他诗歌的重要主题。这一切都源于他的诗真观念,将缘情和言志完美统一,追求屈原的赤胆忠诚,追求李白狂泻的性灵,以童心观察世界,使诗情正、诗情真,歌哭从心,诗品、诗心、诗格完善。在反思的诗歌大潮中,黎焕颐诗无疑是宋调中的唐音。

While reflecting upon society, history and life, Li Huan-yi expressed his love of motherland, love, children, hometown and sages by means of poems; and love is an important theme of his poems. All of these derive from his pure attitude towards poetic concept, from his combination of love with ambition, from his pursuit ofQu Yuan＇s total loyalty and Li Bai＇s release from his soul, and from his child-like observation of the world, thus making his poems righteous, passionate and sound. In the times of reflections upon poems, the poems by Li Huan-yi mainly bear the poetic style of Tang Dynasty while having a tinge of features of Song Dynasty.
