寒风乍起处，温暖进行时。凌冬已至，屋外虽然寒风凛冽，屋内却早已暖意弥漫。人们在享受温暖的时候，并不知道供热管网平稳运行的背后是供暖人辛勤的付出。他们在这最寒冷的几个月中，夜以继日地忙碌着，精益求精地工作着，只为让这座城市更加温暖。

In midwinter, chilly weather doesn't bother people who are enjoying the warmth in rooms. But people are seldom aware of the dedication and a lot of hard work that staff working in the heating department have done for the smooth operation of the heating network. In the coldest of months, they work day and night, striving to achieve excellence to make the city warmer. Heating supply is the biggest project for people's livelihood in winter. In Jinan, 11 central heating enterprises provide 75.8% of the city’s heating supply, covering a service area of 147 million square meters. Having a clear understanding of such great responsibilities, they have constantly improved their work, introducing outside help and promoting waste-heat utilization and eliminating coal-burning boilers with a capacity of below 35 tons, in order to keep the people warm in the winter. At the same time, they are currently working on replacing coal-burning boilers with gas and electricity to preserve "blue skies in Jinan". Staff working in the heating department are not afraid of the severe cold weather and fulfill the arduous tasks with great meticulousness. They bring care and warmth to the people in chilly weather.
