摘要 龙洞是很难进的,一旦进入,就会被峻、险、奇、秀的山光水色,珍贵的文化古迹和生动的传说故事所吸引。 It was certainly a rare chance to walk into Longdong Cave. Once we had been there we were captivated by the spectacular landscapes, precious cultural relics and particularly vivid stories. On a morning in the late autumn, we stepped into Longdong Cave from its north side, headed south along the road that was shaded by trees of the deepest green. On one side of the road was Laojun Cliff-the site where Lord Lao Zi practiced alchemy in folk legends, and on the other was Fenghuang(Phoenix) Terrace-the site where phoenix rested. Springs made a gurgling sound on the valley floor, while the two mountains stood facing each other. Looking southwest, the leaves gave a red tint to the rolling mountains, making the green hillside into an elegant screen, which was pleasing to the eyes. We continued to move forward and saw Baiyun(White Cloud) Peak soaring amid clouds into the sky. Heading west, we passed along the gorge and came to a basin. The basin was surrounded by a very dangerous stretch of steep cliffs that looked as if they were the extremely skillful works of nature. Duxiu Peak and Sanxiu Peak soared into view and impressed us with the luxuriantly green. It was named Jinping Cliff because of its screen-like shape and renowned for the scenery "spring dawn of Jinping Cliff". Walking deeper we found a cave on the cliff that was about 50 meters high above the ground. "The vitality spurts, magic power connects obscure", a slogan was engraved at the entrance of Xilong(West Dragon) Cave. It ran through the mountain and winded its way a few hundred meters long. It was the most mysterious and attractive place in Longdong Cave.
