This article summarizes famous doctor Hu Ling-xiang＇s clinical idea and experience in the acupuncture treatment of knee osteoarthritis, pointing out that the etiology and pathogenesis of K0A are mainly caused by Qi deficiency, wind, cold, dampness and so on in the joint meridian. Aiming at the characteristics of positive and evil in different stages of the disease, more attention should be paid to the treatment of the regulation of liver, spleen and kidney, acupuncture selection based on differentiation and staged treatment, which showed good clinical efficiency.
