随着经济全球化进程的不断加快,世界各国之间的联系变得更加密切。英语作为国际交流的通用语言,变得越来越重要。由此可见,提高我国高等人才的英语教育已经成为了我国社会发展的必然趋势。高校学生的英语教育包括听、说、读、写等方面,其中阅读不仅是国际交流中必须具备的英语能力,也是很多大学生英语学习的短板。为了探究大学生英语阅读能力提升的策略和技巧,从高校大学生英语阅读能力的现状出发,指出高校大学生英语阅读能力存在的主要障碍,对高校大学生英语阅读能力提升的路径进行了探索。

With the acceleration of economic globalization, the relations between the countries of the world have become more and more close. As a universal language for international communication, English is becoming more and more important. Thus it has become an inevitable trend for the social development to improve the English education for higher talents in China. College English education includes listening, speaking, reading and writing. Among them, reading is not only the necessary language skill in international communications, but it is also the short board for most college English learner. To explore the strategies and techniques for the promotion of college students＇ English reading ability, this paper, starting from the present situation of English reading ability, points out that the main obstacles in promoting English reading ability, and explores the path of promoting college students＇ English reading ability.
