On Lei Fazhang's Education Administration Work in Qingdao in 1930s

雷法章是沈鸿烈主政青岛后,从张伯苓的南开中学延揽至青委以市教育局局长的管理人才。雷法章在青岛近6年的任职期间,始终怀着对张伯苓和沈鸿烈的知遇之恩,以基督徒的虔诚与热忱,悉力以赴,成效斐然,成就了他本人与青岛教育的共同光荣。雷法章的教育管理讲求制度上"整齐划一"与行动上"打成一片",并由此提出了强健人的体魄、发展人的智慧和改造人的愚弱自私等教育主张,创造性地发展了张伯苓的南开精神。

After Shen Honglie ruled Qingdao,Lti Fazhang,a management taleby Shen from Nankai Middle School founded by Zhang Boling to be in charge of the Bureau of Educa-tion in Qingdao . Driven by gratitude for Shen Honglie and Zhang Boling , Lei Fazhang devoted himself to his work as a devout Christian. During his 6-year term of office in Qingdaochievements and achieved glory for both himself and education in Qingdao. As for his education man-agement , he stressed ＂uniformity＂ in system and ＂integration＂ in action. From this point of view, he puts forward the educational ideas of strengthening people’s physique,developing people’s wisdom and transforming people＇s ignorance, selfishness,and so on, and creatively developed Zhang Boling＇s spirit of Nankai.
