从文体学视角分析《檀香刑》中暗喻及其英译

Analyzing Metaphors in Sandalwood Death and Goldblatt's English Version from the Perspective of Stylistics

《檀香刑》是诺贝尔文学奖得主莫言的代表作之一。著名汉学家葛浩文对莫言众多作品的翻译获得广泛认可。莫言的《檀香刑》一书中,语言极为独特,暗喻运用巧妙,葛浩文的译本也将原作中独特的语言风格处理得很到位。

Sandalwood Death is one of the masterpieces of Mo Yan,the winner of Noble Prize inliterature. The translation of his works by the famous sinologist Howard Goldblatt is widely accepted bythe public. This paper takes Sandalwood Death and Goldblatt’s English version as examples to analyzethe semantic deviation-stylistic metaphors in the two versions and talk about the translating methodsadopted.
