This paper introduces the importance of geotechnical test to college students？ professional training, taking the geotechnical laboratoryof Guangzhou University of Civil Engineering as an example, summarizes some problems existing in the geotechnical laboratory in colleges and universities,and puts forward some solutions and suggestions to solve these problems.
