摘要
学生课堂报告是美国大学常见的课堂活动,也为中国英语教师们广泛使用。本文选取并分析了密歇根大学学术英语口语语料中11份学生课堂报告转写记录,从中鉴别出41个独立报告,并将它们分为两类:"讨论新发现"和"阐明观点"。在宏观结构上,两类学生课堂报告有"开场""收场"和"结论"三个共同部分;微观结构上则有"介绍"和"评价"为核心的多个共同语轮,体现该体裁的两个重要交际目的。
Student presentations(SPs) is a common class activity in American universities and also a widely adopted task in the English classes of China. This study collected all the 11 transcripts of SPs from the Michigan Corpus of Academic Spoken English and tried to find the generic structure of SP as an oral acdemic genre. After analysis, this study identified 41 SPs and classified them into two types: Type 1, discussing innovations and Type 2, stating opinions. As for the macro-structure, there are three common sections: Prologue, Epilogue and Conclusion. As for the micro-structure, both types have the move of introduction and evaluation, which shows the two most important communicative purposes of SPs.
