The Goodness of Human Nature: On the Human Nature Based on "Taoism and Nature"

面向现实问题的中国传统哲学的创新发展是一项具有世界性意义的伟大工程,完成这项工程的首要工作在于提炼出传统哲学中具有普适性哲学范畴的观点。从人的心灵异化问题出发,考察儒家关于人性的"善恶"之争,统合道家"道法自然"的核心思想并以之为依据,阐述基于现实问题的传统之"善"的辩证性内涵,论述人的自由与解放的一个重要方面主要取决于人性的发展完善,而人性的发展完善在于追求应然之善及克服必然之恶,由此提出"善"是中国传统哲学创新发展需要重新确立的哲学范畴的观点。

The innovation and development of Chinese traditional philosophy facing the real issue is a great project of worldwide significance. The first task of accomplishing this project is to extract the viewpoints that have universal philosophical categories in traditional philosophy. Based on the problem of alienation of the human mind,this paper examines the Confucian " war between good and evil " about human nature and integrates the core ideas of Taoism and nature and elaborates the dialectical connotation of traditional " goodness" based on realistic problems,discusses an important aspect of human freedom and liberation which depends mainly on the development and perfection of human nature while the improvement of human nature lies in the pursuit of the due deeds and the eradication of inevitable evil. Therefore,a view is proposed that " goodness" is the philosophical category that needs to be re-established in the innovation and development of Chinese traditional philosophy.
