Many Chinese and Greek mythologies are full of magnificent tragic meanings. The tragic fate of Oedipus is innate and full of irresistible oracular meanings. However,Oedipus the King still keeps hope for his future and tries to avoid tragic fate and reflects his free willpower to resist against fate. Human and goodness can be brave enough to resist against the fate and ethics to protect their love and free life. Though their resistances against fate fails, the bravery, the longing for freedom and many good characters they have shown are valuable and even deepen the tragedy of stories.
