Survey on quality of life of elderly people in different kinds of pension institutions

目的:了解不同性质养老机构老年人的一般情况和生活质量(QOL),探讨养老机构老年人医疗、康复及护理工作的内容和要求。方法:采用一般情况调查表及中华医学会老年医学分会流行病学组《老年人生活质量调查表》对公办和民办养老机构的老年人进行调查分析。结果:老年人文化程度、婚姻状况及慢性病种数与选择养老机构有关;两种养老机构老年人QOL中下水平;公办养老机构老年人QOL总分高于民办机构老年人;影响养老机构老年人QOL的因素依次为生理情况、心理状况、经济状况及社会状况。结论:不同性质养老机构老年人QOL有差异,老年人应根据自身特点选择适宜的养老机构,养老机构应根据老年人的特点提供个性化的医疗、康复及护理服务,以便提升老年人的生活质量。

Objective: To understand general situations and quality of life(QOL) of the elderly people in different kinds of pension institutions,and to discuss the contents and requirements of the medical treatment,rehabilitation and nursing work of the elderly people.Methods: The general situation questionnaire and the elderly people 's life quality questionnaire made by epidemiology group of geriatric medicine committee of Chinese medical association were used to analyze the elderly people in the public and private pension institutions.Results: The educational degree,marital status and the number of chronic diseases were related to the choice of pension institution.The QOL of the elderly people was at medium or lower level in two kinds of pension institutions.The QOL of elderly people in the public pension institutions was higher than those in the private pension institutions.The factors that affected the QOL of the elderly people in pension institutions were physiological conditions,psychological status,economic status and social status.Conclusions: There are differences in the QOL among the elderly people in different kinds of pension institutions.The elderly people should choose the appropriate pension institutions according to their own characteristics.The pension institutions should provide the personalized medical treatment,rehabilitation and nursing services according to the characteristics of the elderly people in order to improve their quality of life.
