摘要
水果和蔬菜是饮食生活中不可或缺的重要构成。《诗经》里的水果和蔬菜描写品种繁多,诸如桃、李、梅、木瓜、野葡萄、猕猴桃、桑葚、枸杞、枣、松子、榛子、栗子、橡子等干鲜果品应有尽有,人们不但将其作为可口的食物享用,而且也将其作为情感的物象予以寄托和映照。《诗经》时代的山地荒林、平原秀野、水边涧滨到处都有野生的蕨菜、薇菜、荠菜、苍耳、瓠瓜、果臝等菜蔬可采。时下人们以野菜为美食的追求应该说是古老饮食习俗的一种回归。
Fruits and vegetables are indispensable in daily life. A wide variety of fruits and vegetables such as peach, plum, pawpaw, wild grape, kiwi, mulberry, medlar, Chinese date, pine nut, filbert, chestnut, acorn, etc. are vividly depicted in the Book of Songs. People not only treat them as delicious food but also the sustenance and reflection of emotion. Scattering over mountains and woods, plains and fields and water sides, edible wild herbs like fiddlehead, vetch, shepherd's purse, Xanthium, bottle gourd, etc. can be easily gathered in the era of the Book of Songs. So the current trend of valuing wild herbs as delicious food can be regarded as the return of the Chinese ancient diet custom.
