Analysis on the Australian International Education Strategy

为了突破经济发展的瓶颈并在激烈的国际竞争中脱颖而出,澳大利亚于2016年制定了首个国家层面的国际教育战略,确立了今后十年国际教育发展的三大核心目标:创建世界一流的教育体系、建立广泛而深入的伙伴关系、提供全球最佳的留学体验。利益主体的多元合作性、部门之间的统筹协调性以及战略规划的质量导向性是该战略的突出特点。我国可借鉴澳大利亚的经验,切实提升国际教育在外交战略中的地位,走以"提质增效"为核心的内涵式发展道路。

In order to break through the bottleneck of economic development in the fierce international competition, Australia developed the first national strategy of international ed- ucation in 2016, and established three core objectives of international education development in the next ten years： to create a world-class education system; to establish extensive and in- depth partnerships and to provide the best students experience in the world. The multi cooperation between stakeholders, quality leading of strategy and overall coordination among strategies characterize this strategy. It could offer experience for China, to enhance the status of international education in the diplomatic strategy effectively and focus on connotation development by improving the quality and effectiveness of international education.
