肿瘤细胞与肿瘤微环境之间相互作用持续存在于肿瘤演进的过程中。间充质干细胞是一类具有多向分化潜能的异质型细胞,可向肿瘤局部迁移,是构成肿瘤微环境的重要成分。间充质干细胞通过改造肿瘤微环境,促进肿瘤血管形成,抑制肿瘤局部免疫应答,转变为肿瘤相关成纤维细胞,促进肿瘤上皮间质转化等机制来促进肿瘤的生长和转移。研究间充质干细胞在肿瘤演进中的作用有助于深入了解肿瘤及其微环境的复杂性,并探索靶向间充质干细胞的肿瘤治疗新策略。

The interaction between tumor cells and microenvironment persists in the progression of cancers.Mesenchymal stem cells（MSCs） are a group of pluripotent heterogeneous cells,which can immigrate to the tumor sites and constitute the crucial components of tumor microenvironment.By changing the tumor microenvironment,promoting tumor angiogenesis,inhibiting tumor immune response,transforming to tumor associated fibroblast,and promoting epithelial to mesenchymal transition,MSCs facilitate the growth and metastasis of cancer.Studying the role of MSC in the progression of cancer will enhance our understanding the complexity of tumors and their microenvironment,and grope for novel therapeutic strategies targeting MSCs.
