《别了,那道风景》整部小说虽然以对历史上真实发生的大屠杀的认识为线索结构全篇,却彰显了自我救赎的主题。对大屠杀历史的逃避给人的心灵铸造了一把枷锁。挣扎在其中的人,只能通过与自身和解,不排斥他者,与同类人联合起来共同面对人类的历史,才有可能实现自我救赎,而这条救赎之路却是道阻且长,无法毕其功于一役。

Landscape of Farewell shows the theme of self salvation,though it makes the history understanding of the massacre as the clue. Ignoring the history of the Holocaust can only end with a choke of soul. In the fight against this history of human being,the people who suffer from this history cannot realize self-salvation but comply with themselves as well as others to form a league of their type. This road is doomed to be long and can never reach its end at a pace.
