林语堂与儒家文化研究综述

Literature Review of Lin Yutang's Relation to Confucian culture

林语堂自称"一团矛盾",他的中西文化观的形成与发展反映了特定历史时代中国知识分子的发展特点。关于林语堂与儒家文化关系的研究,目前已经取得丰硕的成果,主要包括六个方面:林语堂的儒家人物观、林语堂的儒教观、林语堂对儒家经典的翻译研究、林语堂对儒家文化的阐释特点、从作品解读林语堂的儒家思想、对《子见南子》的研究。本文通过对林语堂与儒家文化关系研究之梳理,认为在研究内容、方法、视野、地域等方面还可以有进一步提高和深化的空间。

Lin Yutang called himself " a bound of contradictory". The formation and development of his view about east and west culture reflected the characteristics of Chinese intellectuals of that special historical era. The research on Lin Yutang's relation to Confucian culture has received achievement in six aspects: Lin Yutang's ideas about Confucianism,his view on Confucian figures,his translation thoughts about Confucian classical works,his elucidate trait about Confucian culture,interpretation of Lin 's works from perspective of Confucianism,and the research of " Confuciusinterviews Nanzi". Based on the analysis of the relationship between Lin and Confucian culture,this thesis proposes that the research of this topic can be improved in the content,method,horizon,and territory.
