《中庸》哲学意义溯源——学术界《四书注释》中修改《中庸》版本之误探析

On the Misunderstanding and Reformulation of the Moderation of “Doctrine of the Mean” in the Academic Circle of Annotating the Four Books

鉴于学术界《四书注释》群中修改《中庸》版本之风日见滋长,经反复研读《中庸》原文及对照朱熹与众多学者的注释,发现这些注释对于"中庸"二字的解释和原文完全不同,朱熹的"中庸之道"更是无稽之谈。"中庸"二字里面没有中庸之道,但《中庸》全书确实存在另外一个"中庸之道",那就是求真求实之道。《中庸》要求修身必须做到"诚身",这是在社会立足的根本。认为诚者,真也,实也。而求取真实的最高行为准则是"择善而固执之",其具体方法是:"博学之、审问之、慎思之、明辨之、笃行之",这一整套"用中以求实"之道才是正宗的"中庸之道"。它从哲学的高度证明了"诚身"的重要性,也正由此,《中庸》发出了闪亮的唯物主义光芒。

Considering the growing academic atmosphere of modifying the versions for"Doctrine of the Mean"in the academic circle of annotating the Four Books,and after studying the original text of"Doctrine of the Mean"in reference to the notes of Zhu Xi and many other scholars repeatedly,I have realized that the interpretation of Zhong Yong in these notes are totally different from what it means in the original text.The so-called Golden Mean of Zhu Xi is a groundless statement.There is no golden mean in the two characters of"Zhong Yong",but there is a Golden Mean in the book "Doctrine of the Mean",the doctrine for pursuing truth."Doctrine of the Mean"requires that to cultivate one's moral character,one must be honest,as honesty is the foundation of society."Honest"means"real and solid".The supreme code of conduct for seeking truth is"Choosing the Right Things and Being Consistent in Doing them",and the approaches to this code are Knowledge,Interrogation,Consideration,Judgment,and Practice.This whole set of doctrine for"seeking truth in practice"is the real Doctrine of the Mean,which demonstrates the importance of"being honest philosophically".It is from this point that we believe that Doctrine of the Mean has been shining out with great brilliancy of materialism.
