Analysis of the ACT Test:Taking the Science Section as an Example

美国ACT考试历经50余年发展,形成了自己的显著特色,即与大学和就业准备标准高度契合,基于实证调查设计考试框架和试题,建立考试的系统联盟,成绩报告内容丰富。本文以科学部分为例对ACT考试进行分析,以期对我国高考改革提供参考和借鉴。

Over the 50 years of development since its inception, the ACT test has formed its own distinctive features in terms of linking closely with the college and career readiness standards, designing the test framework and questions based on empirical investigations, systemically building a testing alliance as well as providing a test score report enriched with multiple types of information. This article takes the science section as an example to analyze the ACT test, with a view to provide reference for the college entrance examination reform in China.
