Dai Jitao as an important political theorist in the Republican period of China. His educational and examination thought not only contains a strong traditional element, but also reflects the distinctive modem colors; not only has a certain conservative but also has a significant innovation. Dai Jitao＇ s education, especially the examination thought, has had an important influence on the examination system and talent selection of the Republic of China and it also has some reference value for the study of the relationship between school education and examination and the reform of educational examination system.
