Translation, Annotation and Introduction of the Annual Letter of 1618 of the Society of Jesus in China

17世纪耶稣会中国年信是研究中国天主教史和明清史的重要史料,但至今没有一份年信有完整的中译本。作为系统翻译17世纪耶稣会中国年信计划的一部分,我们首先将颇具代表性的《1618年耶稣会中国年信》翻译成中文并公开发表。为了更好地展现该年信的学术价值,我们对年信中的一些内容做了初步考证,以脚注形式标出,以利于中外学者使用。

The Annual Letters of the Society of Jesusin China in the 17 th century are very important documentsfor the research of the history of Christianity in China, and the history of the Ming and Qing Dynasties as well. However, none of them have been translated into Chinese before this. As part of the Chinese version of these Annual Letters, this article presents the Chinese version of the Annual Letter of 1618 of the Society of Jesus in China for its representiveness of all the letters, and attempts to provide annotations for this historical document.
