本文从范式来源、政治背景、中西历史走向比较、被支离的多民族国家历史、国际宋史学界对唐宋史分期认识的变化以及国内唐宋史研究的实践等6个方面,对21世纪以来才成为热点问题的"宋代近世说(唐宋变革论)",在国内唐宋史研究特别是宋史研究中的利弊得失做了较为全面的探讨。基本结论是,唐宋史研究应当翻过纠缠于宋代近世说(唐宋变革论)这一页。

This article comprehensively discussed the Naitō Konan theory about the Tang-Song Transformation which has been popular during the past two decades in Chinese academic circle. In particular, six aspects are examined, namely, the origin of this paradigm, the political background of Naitō thesis, the comparison of Chinese and Western historical trends, the fragmentation of the multi ethnic group history of China, the recent changes occurred in the international Tang-Song studies, and the reaction of Chinese Tang-Song scholarly circle to Naitō thesis. In conclusion, it is suggested that Naitō Konan thesis has been proofed a problematical theory that should be put behind.
