对外直接投资提升出口附加值的实证分析

An empirical analysis of outward foreign direct investment promotion of trade in value added

用出口附加值代替出口额分析出口水平逐渐成为主流,而比较对外直接投资的出口附加值效应,有利于更好认识出口附加值指标的应用价值和对外直接投资的作用。选用OECDWTO的TiVA数据库中60个国家跨国直接投资流出与流入、出口额与出口附加值的面板数据,回归分析样本国家的出口额、出口附加值效应,区分发达国家和发展中国家跨国直接投资流向的出口附加值效应。研究表明,出口额指标高估了对外直接投资的贸易效应;对外直接投资的出口附加值效应大于外商投资;发展中国家跨国直接投资的双向流动对出口附加值的提升效果均优于发达国家;发展中国家对外直接投资有利于其全球价值链地位的提升。

It is becoming mainstream to analyze trade issues with the trade in value added instead of export trade.Compared with Outward Foreign Direct Investment flows and the export trade,trade in value added,it＇s beneficial to understand the value of value added index and the role of Outward Foreign Direct Investment.In this paper,we apply the data from the panel data of 60 countries in the Ti VA database of the OECD-WTO,and analyze the trade effect of outward foreign direct investment between the whole sample country and developed countries and developing countries.The results show that the export trade overestimates the trade effect of outward foreign direct investment.The export value added effect of outward foreign direct investment is greater than foreign direct investment.The two-way flow of transnational direct investment effect of outward foreign direct investment in developing countries is significantly greater than that of developed countries.OFDI in developing countries is conducive to promoting the status of the global value chain.
