The Challenges and Countermeasures of International Exchange and Cooperation of Universities in Western China under “the B & R Initiative”

"一带一路"倡议下,西部高校肩负着对外交流与合作的重要使命,但他们在客观发展实际、对外交流合作水平、主观应对上均面临挑战。西部高校应争取来自中央政府的宏观支持和地方政府的具体关怀,推进以跨境教育合作为主的交流合作行动,致力于提高国际化意识和工作人员的专业素质。

Under ＂the Belt and Road initiative＂,the colleges and univer sities in western China are taking the responsibility of international exchange and cooperation,meanwhile they are facing with many challenges on the objective reality,subjective attitude and their level of international exchange.Facing with the challenges,the universities in the west should strive for macroeconomic support from the central government and the specific attention from the local governments,promote exchange and cooperation plans which focus on cross-border education,improve the international awareness and train their staff＇s professional quality.
