当前,京津冀地区的城市群还存在结构性缺陷,体现在城市规模结构不合理,京津两城独大,其他城市难以匹敌,限制了资源要素梯次流动;同时,两个超大城市集中在城市群北部,南部缺乏特大城市带动,发展落后。石家庄作为省会和冀中南最大城市,着力提升其战略地位,对弥补京津冀城市群空间结构短板,带动冀中南地区转型升级、快速发展,进而推动京津冀协同发展都具有十分重要的战略意义。
