摘要
本文关注系统功能语言学及物性系统和特定文学效果"极简"风格之间的关系。我们利用语料库研究方法,主要基于小说关键词,分析极简小说《雪中猎人》中跟及物性系统有关的数据,总结了这篇小说及物性系统"少"、"简单"的应用特色:摒弃及物过程参与者修饰成分,摒弃或平实化环境成分,简化涉及深层内在描写的心理过程和关系过程,涉及表层描写的物质过程、言语过程等的隐性复杂化;讨论了及物性系统运用和操控如何实现表面形式的"少"和内在的"多",实现对小说极简风格的构建;为作品"极简"特色的构建以及欣赏提供思路。
The present study focuses on the role transitivity system in systematic functional linguistics plays in achieving the style of minimalism. In this study, corpora methods, mainly keywords, together with collocates, concordancing are used to obtain data associated with transitivity system from Hunters in the Snow, and the features in using transitivity system are summarized. The author uses participants without modifi- ers. The author does not use circumstances or choose small and simple words as circumstances. Mental process and relational process involving deep description are simplified while the material and verbal proces- ses, which involve surficial description, are made implicitly revealing. How the transitivity system is manipulated to achieve the style of minimalism is discussed. This paper is insightful to the construction and appreciation of the style of minimalism from the perspective of transitivity system in systematic functional linguistics.
