卫聚贤与万泉县西杜村汉代遗址之发掘

Prof.Wei Jüxian and the Excavation of the Han Period Site at Xidu Village in Wanquan County

卫聚贤是民国时期我国现代考古学的奠基人之一,也是山西籍考古第一人。本文旨在还原卫聚贤当年发掘西杜村的缘由及过程,简述卫聚贤的学术观点并对此进行相关思考,兼以怀念这位对中国考古学做出重大贡献的学者。

Prof. Wei Jtixian was one of the founders of modem Chinese archaeology in the period of The Republic of China, as well as the first archaeologist among the Shanxi-born scholars. The present paper reviews the reason and course of Wei＇s excavation in those years, briefly introduces his academic viewpoints, gives them some comments and expresses the author＇s cherishment to this scholar who gave great contribution to Chinese archaeology.
