Analysis and Treatment of the Action Failure of the Cylinder Valve in No.2 Hydro-turbine Generator Unit in Pubugou Hydropower Station

圆筒阀是一种新型的水轮机组紧急关机的隔断阀。根据圆筒阀的结构特点,结合瀑布沟2号水轮发电机组圆筒阀无法动作的故障现象,对故障原因和故障处理进行了深入剖析,处理后的21个月运行表明,圆筒阀运行良好,机组安全可靠运行。

Cylinder valve is a new type of emergency shutdown valve for hydro-turbine generator units. Considering the specific structural characteristics of the cylinder valve,an action failure of the cylinder valve in No. 2 hydro-turbine generator unit in Pubugou Hydropower Station is analyzed. Possible reasons of the fault are discussed and corresponding treatment measures are proposed. Practice shows that the treatment is effective as the cylinder valve and the unit operate well.
