The satellite communication system different with other communication transmission system has the advantages of simple structure, good independence, strong survivable, can be used as an important supplement to the traditional ground optical communication system and deal with serious sudden natural calamity. This paper combines the working principle and characteristics of satellite communication system, detailedly introduces the composition and function implementation of satellite communication system in Three Gorges Cascade Dispatch ＆ Communication Center.
