郑丽英认为,慢性肾功能衰竭(简称慢性肾衰)的病机关键为脾肾虚损,浊毒潴留,为本虚标实之病,存在着"虚、浊、毒、瘀"四大病理机制,以脾肾虚损为本,湿浊、毒邪、瘀血为标。其治疗遵循健脾补肾、化浊解毒、活血祛瘀的法则,用药平和,慢病缓治,随证治之,每每取得显效。郑老师辨证施治强调:健脾益肾,培元固本;斡旋三焦,通调水道;化浊解毒,祛邪安正;急则治标,通腑泄浊。同时,郑老师再三强调在蛋白尿减少、肾功能好转、病情稳定后要特别注意善后调理,巩固疗效,防止病情反复。
