摘要
和平宾馆是1949年后北京最早落成的大型公共建筑。基于一手档案和相关知情者的访谈,复原和平宾馆的建设背景、方案制定修订及施工建造的历史过程,并从全球比较视野考察其设计的思想来源及与建国后建筑创作与思想论争的关联。
One of the first public buildings in Beijing under Chinese socialism, Peace Hotel was built in 1952. Rising from archival work and interviews with people involved in this project in the early 1950s, this paper attempts to restore the historical scenes of the background of this building, and the processes of the making and remaking of its architectural schemes and construction. It also seeks to link the stories of Peace Hotel to the trials and tests in architectural industry and academia in the 1950s from a global view.
