Once secretary to Guan Jinsheng,the founder of Wanguo Securities, and at 33 he became president of B&Q China, and in 2006,he assumed a post as president of Alibaba's B2B business. In 2011, however, when some of the scams of the Alibaba platform came to light, it instigated a "black swan incident"and finally caused David Wei's resignation.
