Combining by a telecom equipment room in Taiyuan,this paper elaborated the harmonic suppression measures,and analyzed the actural effects and importance of harmonic suppression. It is pointed out that the harmonic suppression improves the reliable functioning of power supply systems in telecom equipment room,and ensures the stable operations of critical telecom equipments,which guarantees telecom network security. It can reduce the energy consumption and emission,and promoto the development of green telecom industry.
