A Further Understanding of Establishing the Guiding Position of Mao Zedong Thought

1945年中共七大确立了毛泽东思想的指导地位,在中共党史上具有重大历史意义。由此,不但确定了马克思主义与中国实际情况相结合的根本原则,开启了中国共产党人不断进行马克思主义中国化理论创新的先河,而且展示了党成熟起来并能够担当领导责任的形象,使党的团结和统一、战斗力和领导力有了根本保证,引领中国革命走向胜利。因此,必须学习研读马克思主义经典著作,深入发掘毛泽东思想的时代价值,坚决抵制历史虚无主义,坚持毛泽东思想和马克思主义中国化创新理论成果的指导地位。

7th CPC National Congress established the guiding position of Mao Zedong Thought in1945, which had great significance in the history of the CPC. It not only determined the fundamentalprinciples of the integration of Marxism with the actual situation of China, and found a new way forChinese Communists to carry out the theoretical innovation of adapting Marxism to China, but alsoshowed the image of the Party being mature and able to assume leadership responsibilities, which en-sured the unity, fighting capacity and leadership of the party, and lead the Chinese revolution to vic-tory. It is necessary to learn Marxist classics, have a deep understanding of the value of Mao ZedongThought, resist historical nihilism, and adhere to the guiding position of Mao Zedong Thought and theachievements of the innovation theory of adapting Marxism to China.
