道路交通运行指数在武汉的实践与应用

The Application and Practice of Traffic Performance Index in Wuhan

交通运行指数是综合反映道路网交通运行状况的指标,是交通运行情况的数字化。从交通运行指数在武汉实践的意义出发,介绍了指数研究的基本原理,在定义路网中严重拥堵路段作为运行指数核心的基础上,综合考虑人对于拥堵定义和拥堵等级的理解和感受,确定了路段拥堵感受指标,并采用数理统计的方法,构建了车速和交通运行指数二者的对应关系,提出武汉市道路路段和路网的交通运行指数(TPI)的指标计算公式,并在武汉得到了较好应用。

The Traffic Performance Index （TPI） is an index of traffic operation status, which is a digitalization of traffic congestion. This paper introduced the practice significance of traffic congestion index in Wuhan firstly, then present the basic principle of TPI research with its definition which is based on the road with heaviest traffic as its core, and determined the TPI by surveying human understanding and feelings about the definition of congestion and its level to together with mathematical statistics methods. Finally, the practice constructed the corresponding relation between the speed and the TPI, and proposed calculation formula of TPl of Wuhanroad and road network. Furthermore, TPI was well applied in Wuhan and played a great role.
