地理信息系统课程教学方法的改革——以甘肃农业大学地理信息科学专业为例

Exploration of Teaching Reform of Geographic Information System Course——Taking the Geographic Information Science Major of Gansu Agricultural University as an Example

甘肃农业大学地理信息科学专业的地理信息系统课程教学存在先行课程不足、知识覆盖面广、内容理论性强、重点难点不易把握等问题,围绕着如何提高该课程教学质量开展了一些有益的尝试和探索.在教学方法上,注重提纲挈领、补充必要知识点、联系实际、理论学习与实验教学紧密相连等;在教学方式上,借助良好的多媒体课件、提问讨论、小组汇报自学成果以及网络辅助教学等.实践证明,新的教学方法和方式使得该课程的教学质量得到了有效提高.

There are some problems of geographic information system course teaching curriculum, such as lacking of prerequisite course, wide coverage, strong theoretical content, and the emphasis is not easy to grasp. In this paper, some beneficial attempt and explorations have been carried out based on how to improve the teaching quality of the course. In teaching methods, we should focus on the essentials, supplement the necessary knowledge, practice and theory closely linked to learning and teaching; in the way of teaching, with a good multimedia courseware, discussion group, reporting results and self-study network assisted teaching can be used. Practice has proved that the new teaching methods and ways make the quality of the course teaching has been effectively improved.
